October is starting with a pretty good excuse to get out of the house. From a witch-themed cruise on the St. Johns River and a 35th annual fossil fair to local markets, live theater and Sunday morning Cars & Coffee, here are a few of our picks for a weekend around Sanford.

A weekend tells you a lot about Sanford.

In a couple of days you can go from a riverboat on Lake Monroe to a local market, live theater, a family fossil fair and Sunday morning Cars & Coffee—all within a pretty compact part of town. That's what makes exploring a community useful. You start seeing what everyday life there could actually feel like, not just what shows up in the listing photos.

Could Sanford feel like home to you?

Maybe it's Historic Downtown and the Lake Monroe waterfront that caught your attention. Or maybe you're looking for more space, an established neighborhood, newer construction or easier access to Lake Mary and the rest of Seminole County. Sanford gives you quite a few different ways to live. Explore current homes, or give us a call and we'll help you compare the options.
