Coffee in hand, a walk through Central Park and plenty of local things to browse. The Lake Mary Farmers Market includes fresh produce, plants, orchids, honey, baked goods, handmade items, pet treats and more.
Dogs are welcome too—just keep them leashed while you wander.
Halloween can apparently start in September. Kids can choose a pumpkin design and paint their own little spooky character during this family-friendly Lake Mary session.
The event is listed for ages 5 through adult. Arriving about 15–20 minutes early is recommended.
If you're already downtown for the Farmers Market, keep the day going with a quick stop at the Lake Mary Historical Museum.
The museum preserves photographs, documents, artifacts and stories tied to Lake Mary and the surrounding community—and it sits just a short distance from Central Park.
If your ideal Friday night is more neighborhood hangout than complicated itinerary, Lake Mary Pub & Tiki Bar has Lunar Flare on its current September calendar.
Grab something to eat, find a spot out back and let somebody else handle the playlist for the night.
The Fast and the Furriest 5K gives you the usual Sunday morning race energy—with one important difference: your dog can get in on it too.
The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a one-mile option, finisher medals, event shirts, music and a special Doggie Duo division. A portion of proceeds supports Spay N Save.
